This rather unique pea coat is not made of melton wool. Instead, it features a cotton-nylon shell filled with PrimaLoft for reliable warmth. Furthermore, it's indigo-dyed, a process that requires extra effort, resulting in a deep navy color. This piece solves the biggest drawback of melton pea coats – their weight and tendency to cause fatigue – by being significantly lighter and more comfortable! The PrimaLoft filling provides even better insulation than down, which is a definite plus.
